Request Judicial Record Certificate for Ecuadorian Nationals

To carry out this process, it is necessary to access the website of the Ministry of Government. Once logged in, follow these instructions:

  • Select “MENU” option
  • Select “Programs / Services”.
  • Option “Certificate of Criminal Record”.
  • The Certificate Terms and Conditions of Use screen is displayed, then you must “Accept” what is indicated on this screen to continue with the process.

  • Possess citizenship or identity card.
  • Put “YES” to the question “Is the Certificate for an Ecuadorian citizen?”
  • Enter the ID number without hyphen in the “Document Number” box.
  • Press the “Next” button.
  • The applicant’s name and surname will be displayed under the applicant’s ID card.
